Portuguese Redheads

Scattered throughout the country, Redheads only account for 3% of the population.

Nonetheless, it is in the Southern regions of the country, in Beiras and Alentejo, where this notable excess of hair is to be recorded.
With a relatively higher percentage in Alentejo, this values are attributed to the males of Portalegre and the females of districts of Beja and Évora. There are however, no sexual differences between gender as to numerical symmetry.
The North - Viseu, Coimbra and Guarda, also record a relatively overrun in this class of hair. Where in Insular Portugal, the Islands are represented by an undistinguished bracket, with the exception of Ponta Delgada.[1]
